| Elliott Banks-Browne using Ohlins Suspension closes in on championship at Round 8 of the Red Bull Pro Nationals at Foxhills with a 1-1 score! The penultimate round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals certainly was a game of two halves. A beautiful day on Saturday was followed by a bit of a grey day on Sunday – but not on the track! After some flat out intense racing for the Red Bull Elite Youth Cup and Fuchs Silkolene 2 Stroke Open riders on the prime, fast, free flowing and famous Foxhill circuit on Saturday it was a completely different kettle of fish for the kids, pros and 125cc riders on the Sunday. Mud, longs ruts and plenty of tear offs were the order of the day, but nevertheless with more a battle of attrition in mind there was still some great racing, especially in the MX2 races! ![]() The battle really hotted up in the MX2 class as Elliott Banks-Browne rode a blinder on his Pulse DB racing Honda to go 1-1 and close in series leader Martin Barr who this time out only bagged third overall. Elliott was smooth and consistent in the somewhat tricky conditions where many a rear fender were snapped clean off! Elliott had his Ohlins TTX Shock & Cartridge Kit dialed in with a new setting for the weekend and his results definitely showed how comfortable he was with the bike! ![]() The championship battle is now going right down to the wire at Wakes Colne!
